Project ManagerPersonal Biography

John Langlois was born the middle son of six rowdy kids in Chicago, Illinois. John, however, is his mother’s “favorite” child as his other siblings don’t have a website to counter the claim.

John wiled away his early childhood near the Union stockyards referred to in Carl Sandburg's poem Chicago: "proud to be Hog Butcher, Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat, Player with Railroads and Freight Handler to the Nation." Today, the local neighborhood is still known as "Back of the Yards.”

John’s family moved to Florida in 1968 where he saw alligator wrestling, coconut trees and a barefoot mailman for the very first time. At night, he could hear the distant clatter of trains passing over the tracks near Dixie Highway just across the canal. Listen to the soothing sounds that put his little head to sleep. Play sound

John flexed his tremendous negotiation skills when he convinced his high school sweetheart Christine to marry him after only six years of dating.  They are together today and always.  They have a daughter in high school named Katie.  She helped architect this website.  He marvels at her ability to design page layouts, edit pics, and talk HTML.

The family is rounded out by two dogs, Molly and Andy. John swore he would never own two dogs at the same time and most days Andy gives him reason to question why he broke his own rule.
